The Lineage

recovered & reimagined

Soul Pilot stands inside a long continuity of astrological thought and practice. To understand what it is, we have to honor not only its ancient roots, but also the people and moments that carried this knowledge forward across centuries into the present.

The Source

In the Hellenistic world, astrology was developed as a symbolic art for reading the deeper pattern of a life — through the doctrines of sect, dignity, testimony, and planetary rulership. For the ancients, the chart was a living pattern of forces shaping one's life.

The Technique

The Neoplatonic astrologer Porphyry preserved a subtle technique for identifying the Kurios, the chart's governing planet, which he believed represented the native's Daimōn. But this insight would be lost to the dark ages of history.

The Recovery

Through Project Hindsight, ancient astrological texts were translated back into English and a wide body of lost techniques became available again to modern practitioners. Among them was Porphyry's insight into the Kurios and the planetary Daimōn.

Over years of guiding students through Course of Destiny in immersive, high-touch spaces, he saw again and again what happens when people begin to read their chart in this way: not as a fixed set of traits, but as a living blueprint that can be entered, understood, and brought into relationship. The symbols come alive. The inner cast becomes real. And astrology shifts from something abstract into something personal, practical, and deeply transformative.

Part of what makes this approach so distinctive is that it quietly teaches the foundations of Hellenistic astrology through an imaginative and playful experience of building your Ship, gathering your crew, and discovering your Daimōn.
